A Few More Pictures

I had Easter baskets for everyone that we opened on Thursday afternoon after Nana arrived!  (I know that that's earlier than everyone else - but we had birthday activities the rest of the weekend - so Thursday was just what worked)

Mom took these pictures - she was quite taken with Davis's ability with the iPad.

On Friday morning, Jason took us by the Finning and Syncrude base mine sites.  Unfortunately, we couldn't go on site but were able to see a lot of the (very cool and HUGE) machinery from inside the truck.  This is a site that is normally open to the public; however, there is some construction going on right now and so was all fenced in.  We're standing in front of some old mining equipment.

More games and fun on the iPad!

I love to braid London's hair - it's just so nice when it's not in her face and the elastics from pony tails seem to be really hard on her hair - so braids it is!

This is Davis opening his first gift (the same as the previous post)

A Visit From Nana and Davis's 2nd Birthday!

Davis was in the middle of his nap when Nana's plane arrived - so London and I went to pick her up while the boys stayed at home.  Davis was SO EXCITED to see his Nana, he gave her HUGE hugs as soon as he saw her and barely let her go at all during her visit!

London gave out a lot of bear hugs as well!

Both kids loved the bunnies that Nana made for them!  Davis now has 2, since he stole the original one that mom made for London when she was an infant.  He totes his bunnies and blankets (also made by Nana) everywhere with him.

The ribbons that originally came with the kids' bunnies, somehow ended up as leg decoration...

On Saturday, we went to a Family Fun Day that was organized and held by Jason's work.  It was an amazing event and perfect timing since it landed on Davis's birthday!  Mom, Jason and I had picked up a ton of Thomas the Train toys for Davis for his birthday; this picture is of Davis opening one of his gifts before we went out to the Family Fun Day.

London did SO WELL at helping Davis without taking over and appropriating his new toy :)

After we got home from the Fun Fair, Davis went down for a nap.  While he was sleeping Jason went out and picked up the balloons and cake.  Davis was pretty excited about all of the Thomas decorations that he woke up to!

Nana gave Davis a musical card!  He loved it and is still playing with it!

That's it for round one of pictures.  Hopefully, I'll post the rest tonight!
